The Erotic Ballet. At first glance, it probably sounds like an oxymoron. However, Ballet Dancers are disciplined beyond measure and treat their bodies (with the exception of their feet) like works of art. Every movement is designed for fluidity and balance. Every gesture is crafted for grace. How can qualities like that not be considered erotic? Think about Baryshnikov in those tights flying through the stratospheres with his super tight buttocks and sheer tights. Now close your eyes and envision Misty Copeland with her long sensuous limbs extended to its utmost point of reflection. The Erotic Ballet is simply another perspective of a sensual art form in of itself.

I remember watching my mother gracefully leap from one side of the stage to the other. Her lines were exquisite, she was pure grace and sensuality. I was in awe of Ballet Dancers. I seen how hard my mother worked at being one so I had no desire whatsoever to being a ballet dancer myself. I just knew that I wanted to sleep with one, either the man or the woman, it made no difference to me.  I thought ballet dancers were the epitome of eroticism as a child and now as a full blown adult, I wholeheartedly believe I called that right.

This is a collection of some of the most sensual and artistic erotic nudes in the world, featuring photographic artistry with a “Ballet” theme. I wanted to explore the erotic side of Ballet and I think this collection I assembled for your enjoyment and education, does just that. Don’t be a stranger? Tell me what you think about this collection, I would love to hear from you.

I had to start this collection with the image that inspired me to put it together. Misty Copeland is one of my top five fave goddesses that inspire me to attain greatness. She is almost sheer perfection to me as an artist, athlete, and a woman of color who has overcome adversity to lick the shine off of the stars.

I am a huge fan of artist Ryan Orion. I adore his work so much that I couldn’t choose between these two image, so I put them both in. Ryan Orion captures a sub-level of erotic sensuality within his Erotic Ballet pieces. The nudity is palpable but not overwhelming to the point it takes away from the essence of the Erotic Ballet. Pay special attention to the way Ryan Orion uses a vignette lighting style to draw the focus closer to the dancer and the curves it has. The curved lighting is a creative composition choice to accentuate the curves of this dancer. A curvaceous ballet dancer is a rarity in of itself.
