Erotic and Sensual Photography
with a lesbian theme
I am the luckiest woman in the world. I am in a polyamorous marriage with my husband and my lesbian lover. Typically, Soft Screams Magazine will focus on erotic and sensual photography with a mono-subject narrative.
I wanted to see the other side of erotic and sensual photography. I wanted to see eroticism and sensuality through the emotional and physical intimacy that only two women can have for each other.
This collection of artwork that we are featuring in this collection is a gorgeous display of eroticism and lesbian sensuality. I chose to feature these images out of so many thousands of other images, primarily because each piece of artwork chosen by for this collection was to be more creative than technical. Every photographer, absolutely, was extremely cognizant of the technical aspects to their artistry. What made these erotic and sensual photography pieces so beautiful to me, was that technicality was not the top priority, it was secondary or even in a few images? I believe it was tertiary.
Please enjoy the intimacy, and emotional brazenness captured by the photographers and their models in this collection of artwork that I call ” Saphhic Sensuality”.
This contemporary Fine Art piece of sensual erotic photography with a lesbian theme by Reidar Schoppe is one of the beautiful examples of composition I have seen in this collection. He is laser thin close to stepping onto the genre of “Erotic Surrealism” yet somehow, probably due to the lighting remains firmly within the genre of Fine. Art. This is simply an elegant and masterfully “conducted” piece of “Sapphic Sensuality”art work.

The title of this piece is called “Comfort” by Austin Texas photographer “Don” of Southbound Photography. The title is what caught my attention and as I carefully studied this image, I realized how sensually subtle and powerful this image is. It is pure sensuality with its softness and composition of “Touch” rather than the usual “groping”. The facial expressions of the models, simply brings it all together for me as a brilliant piece and example of “Sapphic Sensuality” photography. This lesbian themed piece is so tender and sensual that I would find it hard for any straight woman not to yearn for this kind of sexuality at least once in their lives.

I really adore this artist Don Walthrop’s brazen creativity. In a time where Instagram software can instantaneously turn your photos into several different looks, he had the creative intestinal fortitude to strike forward and create this artwork. I personally adore the vintage photography aesthetic, especially when it is done correctly and artistically. This image is flat out divine in composition. Like the photographer above Southbound Photography, Don Walthrop has the artistic eye to make the interactions between the women more about the tenderness and intimacy of the “touch” and not “groping”. These three women look so regal and Victorian in their lesbian hued interactions that you actually believe this is a vintage lesbian erotica shot. I love this piece and it is a strong statement in this collection of Sapphic Sensuality photography.

Damon Banner is simply one of my fave contemporary Erotic Photographers. He reminds me of a salacious mixture of Helmut Newton and Robert Mapplethorpe with just a dash of Terry Richardson. Basically, I love the angles and perspectives that Damon Banner uses in his pieces and his use of Fetishism amalgamated within the composition makes me feel tingly all over. This Sapphic Sensuality photography piece with a foot worship fetishism and the sensuality of two girls sucking on each other’s toes… I mean DAMN!

I did not add this image to this collection for “controversy” purposes. I am well aware that Digital Desire is a pornography website. However, I am an artist and as an artist I seek artistic truth and truthfully this image is gorgeous and it really touches me. In Sapphic Sensuality photography other than the tenderness of the “Touch”? The tenderness and intimacy of the “kiss” is equally visually tantalizing. Seasoned Erotic Photographer J Stephen Hicks of Digital Desire captured a very tender and passionate “pre-kiss” which teases you just enough to make it sensual and not sexual. The soft lighting and soft shadows makes it very beautiful overall. I find this image by J Stephen Hicks to be so gorgeous, that I wager most non professionals, wouldn’t known that this was shot for the porn site Digital Desire, if I never mentioned it.
