Soft Screams Magazine
featured Sexxxalishus Model
I wish I could say something intrinsically deep and philosophical about why I don’t believe in coincidences. My baby Damali Conceptuals is always rambling on and on about how he is an existentialist and they do not believe in luck or coincidence. Another friend of mine, drones on and on about chaos theory so everything in our universe is just echoes or ripples of inevitability. Meanwhile, the real truth is that I am extremely sexually attracted to Neo & Trinity, so when they say “there is no such thing as coincidence or luck”, I believe them. That is until now…
Our Editor-In-Chief, Damali Conceptuals, introduced me to this month’s model, Bianca Rose and I am not sure if I should call this luck or a blessing, but I adore this girl so much, that calling all of this a mere coincidence seems, dull, and hopelessly disingenuous.
Bianca Rose is a true kindred spirit. Once you read her interview with this issue, you will be able to clearly see why; I could never let her out of my life again. Bianca is blessed with such fine art portraiture features, that she is able to turn any image, into a work of art. Bianca’s creamy pale complexion acts as the perfect backdrop for her long red tresses. The palest blue eyes and legs longer than our national debt finish off the aesthetic appeal of Bianca Rose.
That should be enough to tantalize all of you thousands of Soft Screams photographers. However Bianca Rose is more than just a sexxxalishus beauty. Bianca Rose fuses a childlike innocence and yet the aura of a classic styled, alabaster skinned, temptress, simultaneously. This amalgamation of juxtaposition creates the largest difference between a future supermodel such as herself and the millions of other “wanna be’s”… charisma! Bianca Rose oozes charisma in every picture that I have seen come across my desk. In every image you will notice that there is something that leaps out at you. In every image, you will notice that Bianca Rose brings a smoldering sensuality and Fine Art aesthetic that draws you into her world of artistry and expressionism.
It is with the utmost of pleasure and joy that I can present to you November’s featured model for 2015, Bianca Rose!
Belladonna Del Rio
What’s your background in modeling? When and why did you get started? Was it for the glamour? The money? Pure kicks?
” I don’t really have a background in modeling, but instead in the Fine Arts and Performance. I started modeling a little over 4 years ago with runway and high fashion. I had two roommates at the time who said I had the look for the upcoming RAW show. My first night came with ease and excitement, and I’ve never stopped since! “
Who are some of your favorite models?
” Some of my favorite models to work with are Daphiney Rose, Audrey J S, and (still need to add one more name). I definitely want to shoot for Playboy’s centerfold, but if I’m lucky I dream of walking for Victoria Secret.”
What is fun and rewarding about modeling?
” Modeling is rewarding to me because deep down, I will always be a fine artist. Each day while prepping for a shoot, I pick out each set imaging the poses and characters that will be played while modeling. I see myself as a canvas and am always looking to create that perfect image.”
What do you dislike about modeling?
” There isn’t much that I dislike about modeling, but don’t get me wrong, it isn’t easy… Back-to-back bookings, long commutes, very little sleep, and a shoot washout rate of 45-60%. Add in an ever changing work/eating schedule, and it can get a bit overwhelming. In the end, I do enjoy what I do, and will always give chase to a good challenge.”
What advice do you have for other aspiring models?
” Advise that I would give to new models is that you have to keep your head on straight. Know what your goals are and stick to them. Believe in yourself, but be humble, a “big head” is never appreciated.”
How do you prepare for a modeling shoot?
” When preparing for a shoot, I go through a checklist for my body and my bags. From head to toe everything must be done to fit each shoot. Hair, makeup, shaving, nails, buffing/moisturizing, and the list goes on. Along with wardrobe/props required for each shoot, I always bring additional wardrobe. 3-7 lingerie sets, variety of stockings, 1-2 dresses, jewelry, and anything else that might fit in my suitcase lol.”
What distinguishes a good model from a bad one?
” What distinguishes a good model from a bad one is that they are attentive, understanding, and willingness to be sculpted. It is important to have your own character and style, but remember, a model/subject is hired to create a specific image by the holder. Giving input is great, but being the model doesn’t mean you control the shoot. Instead of reaching for the reins, try ridding next to those you work with. I like to look at it like the employer is the coach, and we models are the players. “
What distinguishes a good photograph from a bad one?
” A good photograph all depends on the end goal. In general, and photo should be able to pull you into an image, give you a story, and spit you out wanting for more. A good focal point is also very important.”
What distinguishes between a good photographer and a bad one?
” When it comes to photographers, a good one will know what they want to shoot, be willing to be upfront about all of the details, and in general, a respectful person.
I haven’t really had any terrible experiences in modeling because I do have a very good judge of character and am always persistent with references. If someone doesn’t have any references, the next step is to use a studio where someone else will be present. Safety is rule #1.”
You do not have to share any names if you don’t want to but tell our readers about the worse experience you had with a photographer.
I don’t really have any funny/embarrassing moments, I always try to be on point. This is my full-time job after all
You pose nude, are there any problems in your personal life because of this?
Would you recommend posing nude to other models? Why ?
“I’ve never had any problems in my personal life due to posing nude. Maybe a little jealousy, but nothing more then that. When it comes to other models, I always say do what you’re comfortable with. If you’re just starting out, I would suggest waiting on the nudity. It’s better to really get a good understanding of yourself in front of the camera before you get out your birthday suit.”
If you could go back in time, what advice would you give today, to Bianca, the day before her very first shoot?
” If I could go back in time to give myself advice, I would say “just be yourself”. In the beginning I was far too stiff and too critical of myself. There’s nothing sexier than a woman with confidence. And I would warn myself to not be so trusting of others. It has happened a few too many times that I let others in to myself from the industry, and although I have made many great business relationships, there were those who wanted nothing more then to take me down. I was never in any harms way, but wearing my heart on my sleeve has left me with a few scars. Best thing to do, is always keep it business and not personal.”
Photographers are going to fall in love with you after this feature. What is your availability? Traveling? Full-time, part time? hours?
“Currently I work full-time as a model and part-time as a producer. I am always available for bookings and custom orders. Most of my traveling is within the Tri-State area, but for the right rate, I will travel just about anywhere!”
